Toronto MAT Practitioner Reid Jackman

Reid is a former professional hockey player with AHL and ECHL experience. He graduated York University with a Specialized Honours BSc in Kinesiology, where he also played starting forward for the Lions Organization. Throughout his playing career Reid worked with a number of high profile strength and conditioning coaches, including Gary Roberts, who helped shape his individual practice and left him with a passion for fitness and biomechanics.

Reid is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Muscle Activation Techniques Specialist (MAT). This unique blend of education makes for an all-encompassing, dynamic approach to each individual he works with. He is able to treat injury and dysfunction, carry out rehab protocols and help clients reach a variety of fitness goals.

Reid has worked with a wide range of clientele, from general population to young aspiring athletes as well as professional NHL and NLL players. His passion for biomechanics combined with almost 10 years of training experience allows him to deliver top quality client experience and desired results to anyone he works with!

  • Thursday and Friday 6am to 4pm
